PJ, do you have any French region (region 2) Halloween DVD movies? Something like Nightmare Before Christmas or similar. The DVD player at Katie's house is multi-region, but it gave up a the ghost. We can bring a DVD player that'll read region 2 DVDs, but then we don't have the right DVDs... ahg!

There are some cheap fabric stores where bolts of cotton, knit, chiffon, fabrics are sold, and the Halloween theme is even printed on many nowdays. Black is abundant.
I still have my mini-coffin, complete with the Count mask and spider webbing and other effects; a black wooden cross or two; the witch in cardboard flying away; and the pumpkin-painted cardboard box that serves as a tossing game (I have the juggling balls for it) if you/we want it. Still have the eyeball-painted ping pong balls for punch floaties, too. Will bring everything on Sunday for decorating.
There is a gardener just down from me who has/had some enormous pumpkins in his garden. I will see if I can find out if one might be for sale...? Otherwise, Champion had decent pumpkins last year...

Yeah, it looks like the weather is going to be splendid, which is great news because we've got 80 RSVPs! Full house! I think PJ might have left the recipe for the spooky stuff to put in the cauldrons at your house, could you take a look to see if you have it? You or me should buy the ingredients (keep your receipts) so we can get it ready. Thanks Katie!
