The AIT International Club serves a multi-national community resident in the Greater Toulouse area. Our membership in terms of units (addresses to which we send out Newsletter, typically a family or couples or singles) is at 190, and our total membership (including all unit members) is nearly 450.
How does the AIT international club serve this community? Here are some examples that we promote or sponsor:
* Children activities and events that allow incoming families to find kids with whom their children may play.
* Adult activities such as guided tour where members familiarize themselves with both the historical significance of the area as well as an important French patrimony (produce of the land such as wine, foie gras, mushrooms, flowers, etc.)
* Special events for singles and couples to meet and dine and generally have wholesome, relaxing fun.
* A continually updated first-rate guidebook that prepares people for coping and assimilating into a foreign culture, which you may access here.
* A list of area "Ambassadors" that extend a welcome hand to arriving newcomers trying to get oriented in an unfamiliar environment.
* A Forum where people can exchange tips / advice regarding any number of subjects from schooling to restaurants to cuisine to shopping.
* A Newsletter that advises our members monthly of our program and contains adverts from local English-speaking purveyors of goods/services.
* Our club is a member of the Association of American Clubs, which means that our members traveling have the opportunity to meet with others in American clubs throughout Europe.
All these services are offered by a club that is run entirely by volunteers. The AIT International Club is a chartered association under French law and has existed for over 20 years.
The AIT I/C Board makes its best effort to serve members. However, we could do even better with your corporate sponsorship. We are asking companies to sponsor us in furthering club's assistance to families whose parents work in the Greater Toulouse area for two good reasons:
* It gives you brand-name recognition within the international community of Greater Toulouse (and even beyond, given the Internauts who reach our Forum where your name/activity will be posted in our Corporate Links thread).
* For larger companies, it is, quite simply, a good investment for you to make. Our events and services assist greatly in the assimilation of expats into the area, thus reducing the risk of an international relocation turning sour, with the substantial costs that such may entail.[/color]
Please think seriously about a corporate sponsorship. Here is an outline to assist you in assessing its value:
Sponsorship fee (for members):
* Class 1 - Company staff of up to 50 @ 120 euros per year.
* Class 2 - Company staff of 51 to 100 @ 200 euros per year.
* Class 3 - Company staff of 100 or more @ 750 euros per year.
Your sponsorship offers you the following:
* Advertise in the Monthly Newsletter with a half page advert.
* A post inserted in our Forum (under the Corporate Sponsorship thread) with a promotional text and link to your website.
* Sponsor exclusively any given event that is organized by our club and address our attendees. Sponsors are allowed to display a banner or set-up a means for displaying promotional materials. The club must be informed of the sponsor's set-up to assure that it is in keeping with the event.
* Participate along with other sponsors in our events according to the rules established above.
* Contribute an editorial (or editorials) to the AIT I/C Newsletter explaining who you are and what you do or any other subject of possible interest to our membership (but with approval of the Newsletter Editor).
Thank you kindly for your consideration and know that we appreciate it greatly. For further information, contact "president(a)americansintoulouse.com" (insert "at-sign").
Psssstt! Pass the word, please, if you know a company that might be interested in our sponsorship program ... |
