Hallelujah! Spring is (finally) here! And AIT families know what that means: Its time again for the ever-popular monthly picnics.

And what luck: this months picnic falls on Fetes des Meres, the French Mothers Day. We meet at Compans Camparelli at 12:30.

Apologies for the late response on the picnic, here are the details:

Where: Compans-Caffarelli, near the children's playground (which is also near the little lake). Who: 3 families have RSVPed, more may show up at the last minute. Unfortunately I won't be able to be there myself or my mother (who lives in Toulouse) would kill me. The park is great on a Sunday, lots of children and families about, there are benches, shade in some areas, a place where you can get coffee and ice cream, a fierce looking dragon statue (right past the ice cream place), a little carnival ride, and overall a relaxed atmosphere.
What: Bring whatever your family would like to eat and drink, this is not a potluck. Also bring a blanket as there are no picnic tables.
When: Sunday, May 25th, 12:30pm until whenever.

How will you know who's AIT? They are the ones speaking loudly to their children in English!
